I'm thinking about putting an Autopower Roll CAge in My car.

Its a Full CAge and would run me $650 Including PowderCoating it yellow to match the car.

People drive like FUggin Maniacs here in Atlanta...90+ mph in FUll Size pickup trucks in the rain and FOG..its scary, and I really don't want something to happen if I get Slammed or run off the road and flipped or something. That and I think it would be a nice safety thing for Track DAys at Road Atlanta...Got one coming December 10th BTW...it would also serve to make the car stiffer...what do you guys think...anyone with one already...I have one friend with an APR GT300 celica and he has one...its nice. What are your thoughts

^^ Is there someone who makes those kits for the celi, without going custom, like you can buy the kit for each of those roll cages or the other one, that comes with the prefitted metal, and all you do it bolt it on or weld it on?? I would hate having to go custom and find someone to custom make me a cage from the ground up, if i can get a kit, and ill i have to do is have someone put it in, that will be a lot easier!!

no...AUTOPOWER makes the roll cages...they are a pre-made kit...not custom. I've seen one in person and they are really nice without being too bulky...and they are easy enough for my girlfriend to still be able to get into the passenger seat without having to be a contortionist...here is the link...autopower roll cage [ioportracing.com]

here's mine, custom 10 pt chromoly. handling is much improved as the car moves as one unit on command. and it works great with harnesses as they keep you in your seat.

more pics in my profile but here's one:
and the passenger side harness is misadjusted in this pic so ignore that. you'll notice the side bars are turned down to make it easy to get in and out. I had mine go straight but didn't like that and had it cut and rewelded.
