I read somewhere on the boards, how if you drive for a long distance.. say 40miles straight.. on a stock car..

afterwards you should let the car idle a bit before turning it off??

anyone have anything to add to this? If it really helps or what it does? spineyes

5 mins, damn, that is pretty long. So when I go from San Francisco to San Jose, I should be letting the car idle for about 5 mins before turning it off? I thought that leaving the car on and not moving for a period of time is bad for the gar and gas for that matter.

lol how weird.. i go from san jose to San Fransisco.. (Pacifica) also rofl

and seeing as it takes about 45 mins to get there i figure i might as well let it idle for awhile.. idunno
