hey your car could maybe not come with the feature installed on your celica. I thought my car came with the remote for my car but it didnt. When I bought the car, the dealer ran the VIN for me and my particular model/year when it was made, that it didnt come with an alarm feature. It has power locks but no keyless entry. So I had to go buy a aftermarket alarm for my car. But if you want, i got a brand new celica remote thats brand new never been used. I can sell you it if you'd like wave

i was told that my car came with keyless entry but the loser who had the car before me didn't turn it in (she only turned in one key, too). i'm not sure if i have it or not. there is a piece next to my window locks that says toyota alarm and it has a red light that blinks when the car is locked and it has some small vent holes or something. is this a keyless entry reciever (the woman didn't turn in the owner's manual either, otherwise i'd look it up.)

No that's the internal security system that disarms when you put the key in the lock... I am going to post how to program a keyless entry unit hopefully by the end of today (UK time!)
