my speedometer isn't work. the speed sensor is hooked up. what else could it be?

My speedo was dropping to zero and then back up again while i was on the highway. Toyota first replaced the gauge cluster, i i had the prob agaain and they replaced the speedo gear. That seems to have done it.

lol My cluster cover was against the needle. stupid me
