Anybody have a Guide on How To Clean IAC valve

If anybody has a Guide on how to do this it would be appreciated.

Yank off your Intake or stock rubber Intake hose and look inside the throttle body. Towards the front side, you'll see a rectancular hole. That's the passage to the IAC. Just spray a ton of throttle body cleaner into it and let it soak for maybe 10 min. Then start up the car and let it idle. That should hopefully get out all the gunk inside. If not, repeat the process.

yes.. because I dont think the car will start without the MAF sensor being recognized by the air from the start-up of the car.

I've heard you can start the car without the hose, but it takes a couple of tries before it runs. Either way, don't step on the gas pedal, since the only time the IAC has flow through it is when the throttle plate is closed.
