well think of it this way my man, if it dont make much power the way it is, what makes you think that by extending the secondaries will improve the primaries gas flow? Im not bashing your idea or anything. But designing a race header takes research and such. lol i should know haha.
but hey, go for it man, if you make power that will be awesome!
Well, from what I have noticed, Celica headers all make power in the low end. The problem is the high end in lift. I have come to the conclusion that it must be the divider. Too much turbulence in the chamber and the gases can't pass though efficiently enough. I mean, the only reson that divider is there is to simulate a 4-2-1 design. I think, that if one were just to extend that flange even 3 inches so that the gases could pick up speed...it would do the trick.
Have you proto-typed your header yet? Dyno'd? Have you run into any problems?
I don't even know if it will lose power yet, gain power, or just stay like stock. What I am saying is, if the header doesn't build more than a DC header than it is worthless in it's current form! I paid next to nothing for it...why not try to modify it to make it work? Thanks for the feedback though easy_C!
