zongGTS Member 2002 Toyota Celica Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 23 San Jose, CA	Hi everyone Im a new member and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I recently installed a Blitz power air filter in my 2002 Celica GTS. I love the performance and sound but the check engine light popped up a couple days ago. Although I heard it would happen, I dont like that little light on my dash and I heard it also retards the timing. Does anyone know anything to help out. Thanks

Clean it with a q-tip and throttle body cleaner. There is a detailed explanation in the how to forums here. I don't know the blitz filter, but it seems odd that there are no vacuum lines? I know that will throw a cel on a Injen or AEM cai if there is a vacuum line hooked up wrong. I personally don't think its your MAFS as you should notice a performance/idling problem. But it never hurts to clean it! Try re-setting your ecu like suggested above. If not, I am sure tjat v3nom can help.
