you can do it yourself and it will come out just as good as a pro if you take your time and follow instructions.

Good question. I am considering painting mine, but better than stock and like a brand new car's paint. I could probably get the same results myself, but working 70+ hours now doesn't help for free time. I haven't seen many self paint jobs that I would say to myself, that looks great. I figure get it sprayed professionally. It shouldn't cost that much either or go the distance with real carbon fibre.

for those of you who paid someone to paint it for you.. you got ripped. Doesnt take a mad scientist to paint a console.

it does take a while ive been doing it myself and every other week i see something i did wrong but, i love the satisfaction level just doing it myself versus paying 200 dollars for painting. shit i could get a painter to do my whole living room for that much

IxkissablexI and andrews:
It was $250 for the entire dash + doors + etc..
My interior was entirely gray before, so I had to get everything painted.
RookieGTS & JSPITZ:
I wouldve paid even more if I had to, and I do see a diference between my interior and the ones you did by yourselves, plus this price includes paint made by Lotus ( for the Elise) and not cheap spray cans you can get anywhere.. so I dont think I got ripped.
Kevin:
thanks for the comments ... yours is pretty nice as well
