I used to work in a bodyshop , unless that car is a trailer queen it probably doesnt look like that anymore , all it would take is the slightest curb tap and the filler they used to mold that bumper in would crack. Good for shows , bad for driving

Yap extended the hose lines make sure you do it professionally. Very dangerous doing this mod make sure the cap is pressurize real well too it won't always be 100% trust me. You can blow yourself up or cause an explosion seriously if you decide to weld it flush. I don't reccomend bondo it on that will screw up in the long run. My friend had to put a damp rag in his motorcycle gas cap when converting his beamer to weld it to the frame of his body so the sparks won't fly and cause an explosion. He bought a real motorcycle gas tank and graphed it into the body so it will never chip or fall off. Problem is won't pass smog visually gotta pay to play. The pic above looks like they just put the cap on top of the body and bolted it up and most likely just extended the gas line. Safer that way you don't need to glass it or bondo flush it and mold. Some conversion you will have to use a siphon to get gas in your tank if you heh if you don't know what your doing. That looks like a sparco gas tank cap. You can screw up a lot if you don't know how to do it and cause a leak. thumbsdown I swear i've seen that car before real nice. thumbsup

i seen that guy on cardomain i beleive...he was explaining how he relocated it...

i dont remember every detail but he did not technically use an extended gas line. he replaced the whole line alltogether with a longer line. then obviously shaved off the original gas tank and used the sparco fuel door lid as his choice in the rear quarter panel.
