Its really NOT that hard at all. You just have to take off your front bumper with a friend (because its really hard to pop off the front by yourself without damaging it) and then get the fogs on. The only tricky part is getting the spring on the back of the foglight to snap back in place. angry that took my buddy Ryan and I 20 minutes to figure out angry

But other than that its really easy to do.

just do it yourself, not hard at all.
click here [plaza.umin.ac.jp] for satoshi's page of instructions. I personally used these instructions to change my fogs and can attest to their accuracy and helpfulness thumbsup

Go to Car Toys - you will get it done right with no BS. But then I'm one of those guys that likes to drive and have a sweet car but don't trust my own mechanical abilities.

when i bought my showoffs from MD, i took it to toyota while i was having my oil change and asked if they could install it. they said sure, 21 minutes later they said they couldn't install them because it wouldn't stay on correctly. i went home and installed them with no problem. wtf

i guess its time for me to do a pictorial of how to install fog lights WITHOUT removing your front bumper...

I gotta wait for tony to get back (thursday) before i can do this though

its not that dificult to do... only requires a 10mm socket wrench, a philips screwdriver and a flashlight. wave

it is not the dealers job to install aftermarket products for you...they have their own business to take care in parts and service.

Exactly...hahahaha rofl only thing is that you have to be really acrobatic at times; jungling a flashlight, holding back plastic, holding the bulb then the connecting the elec. plug. And reinstalling that retension spring got many explicit phrases out of me rofl

when i put mine on i was worried about the bumper too. i just took my wheel off to see what i was doing, pulled back the plastic and installed the driver's side. for the passenger side i didn't even take the wheel off. took me about 20 minutes including taking the driver's side wheel off and putting it back on.
