hey guy..i'm just curious to ask if any of you own a deck that have a external amp instead internal amp for the deck...does the sound quality much better than internal amp...holla at me for those expert on stereo...

it depends, if you use stock speakers, its not worth it, but if you get some good aftermarket speakers, you can definatly hear the difference if you add an amp. thumbsup

External amps are always the best way to go, but you want to match the quality with quality speakers.

External amps are awesome, but make sure that 1) you have a deck with preouts for an amp and 2) you have speakers that will make use of the amp's power. thumbsup

thereotically.. a deck with no built in amp is better since there wouldnt be any interference or limitations and stuff (lol) external amps from my experience sound the best.. i hope i'm right spineyes thumbsup

You can buy one with an amp built in & just not use the amp. No heat or interference is created if there is no current flow.

Exactly. Just use the pre-outs to connect your amp(s), don't use the stereo's speaker jacks. thumbsup
