I would like to know if there is a need or interest for TITANIUM valves for our cars. We will work out a set for the GT or the GTS soon. Also if there is an interest on it I would like to know what is a reasonable price you would pay for them. i am collecting info here first so feel free to add your opinion. Gas

The question is how much what you would pay for it,if you would be to buy a set.
I will do the research if it is possible to make them on that price. I need info.(like 600$ would be ok...etc...)

I think $600-800 would be a reasonable price for a set of titanium valves. You should also get Ti springs and retainers too, so maybe like $1000-$1500 for everything.

I don't know that you'd get any gains from valves, unless I'm missing something. It's only going to make them stronger, which would just mean you could boost/juice more. Correct me if I'm wrong.

c2gas, You can put me down for a set of everything that I will need to have a fully built engine. I'm sure whatever price you come up with will be good.

From what I've seen Honda Titanium valve sets go for $1200+ so I'm guessing its gonna cost us more, probably somewhere around $1500+ since its in less demand. I'm hoping to keep my Celica NA so titanium valves would be great especially since they seem to be the weak link according to some manufacturers.
C2gas, who are you trying to get to make the valves?

C2gas, who are you trying to get to make the valves? No way we want to let the price that high. If we can do it it will be less. We are targeting the price ~800$. I dont want to outsource the job ,but do it in our production (c2power.com). I have allready ordered the material for it, and will do a set for sure. So we can see if we can do it right, and see the price of it when done.

good find, if i decide to completely rebuild my engine, id go with these titanium valves, and prob those retainers too, c2gas, if you do make them, i wouldnt spend more then 1000!!! But i would like to see them between 600-800, but i doubt that!!

I mean $1500 for valves+springs+retainers, not just valves. And since those retainers are already $500, the $1500 seems more realistic for the whole set, but if you can make them all for $800 that would be awesome, I would definitely get a set.

I'd be in on it for about 700 euros with the retainers, but Iam not sure it's possible. I am not saying they would be too expensive because a lot of work will go into it, but that's what I would take as a budget for me personally

they would make a tiny bit of power if they were significantly lighter then stock which I dont see why they wouldnt be. even MWR's were 3 grams lighter then stock each and those arent titanium. I would say $800 would be a good price. godd luck getting that accomplished.

I have the MWR valves and valve springs, and they give you real piece of mind if you beat the helll out of your engine sometimes
