Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Need some help?

Just today when i went to lock my car up i noticed that it didn't make the beep sound but it still locked up. The panic button works and i replaced the battery in the remote, and nothing changed, what should i do??

Check the wiring to the siren ( I have aftermarket and mine is mounted on the firewall on the left side of the engine bay)

It could be that. But since your siren is functioning I woudl think the alarm is working. Sometimes when you press a series of buttons on your remote the chirper gets disabled. Check your manual on how to make the chirp sound turn on again. It's different on all alarms.

Well the last time i locked the car up before it totally went dead it sounded like it was dying, it made a beep sound but it was very week then the next time, nothing happend at all except it locking but no beep and the panic button still worked
