Hello everyone I was wondering if it was true that if I unscrew something on the stock GTS exhaust pipe (a friend told me about it), will it make it louder and have better performance because of vibrations? If so, what do I unscrew and where is it? Also I want to buy the loudest exhaust in the market that gives good HP, but is also legal in California. [color=blue]

You'll gain more top end power because of less restriction in the exhaust system, but you'll also lose low end power for the same reason.

I just got my trd kazuma in today and i think im alrady deaf from it. lol, but i love it, loudest one on the market but not legal in cali, yet if your careful you could easily get away with it, like if you know your area. Other wise if your looking for a nice deep loud sound thats not over the top like the kazuma i would go with the tanabe racing medalion. thumbsup

You lose quite a bit of low-end power with it, not to mention it sound like you're screaming down the street when you're only going 20-30 MPH!

Not to mention, it's illegal in CA (as it's bypassing your cat. and very loud!), so be careful! smile

Is the sound without the stock bolted exhaust legal? Also, what's the best exhaust that gives the best speed instead of sound?

Top end is power in lift, from 6000 to the limiter. Low end is power from idle to around 4000 RPM (what little power we have, anyway wink ). And midrange would be 4000-6000. You gain top end through breathing mods like I/H/E. Properly tuned I/H/E will also give you great low end and midrange gains.
