I wouldn't. Its not safe to watch movies while driving. I don't know about Texas, but in Cali, you can get rolled for doing that. thumbsdown

yes
tape the green wire of the player (the one you're supposed to put on hand brake) to any ground wire or just ground it on the body's chassis
i taped mine on a ground wire
works ok
just be sure you're not playing any movies while on city streets
on high way it's great for road trips so that your friends don't bug you - just drive responsibly tho

Or you could buy a bypass on eBay that would cost you like $30. That way you could turn it ON and OFF whenever you want. This is especially good when you get pulled over or whenever you see a cop that is near because like everyone is saying, its illegal to have video while the car is in motion.

Click one up, switch with ground, or ground it directly. All works. thumbsup

I have a switch wired up to mine, so i can kill it quick if need be, if i would get pulled over. The switch makes the dvd player think the parking break is on.

i was gonna say... a toggle switch for 2 bucks is better than something on ebay for 30.
