anywho i have been trying to land sponsorship from day 1
but never thought it would be hard work.
i have actually written tons of proposals to a lot of companies with no avail
from what i have gathered companies are looking for the best return of investment(ROI) they want cars that are going to be out there, seen by the people. i find the best way to do this is to enter a LOT of shows and be notice. It will be a bit easier to lans a sponsor if you have a good "show" record to back it up.
do what you can by your own if companies see that you are dedicated into investing in your car they are more likely to invest in you.
you need to go above and beyond everyone who is looking for a sponsor in order to stand out.
as mentioned above starting low might be best and landing a sponsorship from a local shop, getting small parts and such is better than nothing.
even with that said its still not a gaurantee to get sponsored.
but goodluck with the venture as I myself are in the same situation as you. my main goal beginning of the year is to eneter all local shows so people know iam out there.
hahaha it will be cool if you were in socal also that way we can enter shows togethere and be known as the vsffgt duo
