Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Placing front car plates

My kaminari kit is coming in soon and I just thought to myself, "where in the hell am I going to place my front plates?" I was thinking right in the middle of the front bumper but I don't want to drill holes in my kit. I also don't think it will look good aesthetically. Is it absolutely neccessary to have the plate in the front bumper?

If state law requires it...you need it.

Some states (CA) are ambiguous about placement...their law reads something to the effect of "License plate must be visible in the front" and so some people there have gotten away with simply putting the plate in their windshield. Look up your local laws and see if you can use that same loophole.
