Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD suspension

I'm planning on dropping my car as soon as I get my 18" wheels in. Im interested using the TRD suspension. However, what do I have to buy in order to drop my car. Do I need the springs, or do I need both the springs and shocks? I heard if I lower my car my shocks will wear out faster. If I get the trd shocks with the springs, would my shocks be more durable? I also need prices for both. The cheapest place I have found so far is the Toyotaparts4u website. Are there any springs or shocks that are just as good as the TRD for a lower price? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

TRD isnt cheap

depends on your mileage... if you're close to or over 50-60K then get the struts as well

i have kind of the same question, but i am going to get 17" rims, i just don't know what tire size to get and what suspension?? i only have 20k miles in my car.

what suspension and springs to buy and what tire size for a 17" rims???
