Wierd thing...i was driving home from my gf's house...
everything was good except my heat didn't work.
after like another minute...my gauge was flashing on "H".
i got scared so i pulled over. Looked in my engine and under
my car. Nothing seemed to be the matter so i just got back
in and drove...
my heater came back on...and it all ran normal again...
anyone know what it might have been? did i run over
something?
anything that might prevent from happening again?
cold air intake? hahahaa

hmm thats funny. When i changed my coolant, my heater didnt work either and i let that thing idle for a while. I got scared. Well it turns out that there was air in the water pump? Anyways, i forced a hose and shot some water down the tube and quickly plugged it in and voila, it works. but i dunno about your case

cold air intake? hahahaa Might be time to do a coolant flush, check radiator fill levels, replace radiator fluid, inspect radiator hose lines, replace damages hose lines. Once your done with all that test test test. If it works great

You have some air in your coolant system. It usually finds the heater first. You want to make sure you don't have a leak anywhere & top it up whenever it gets low.
