It is the best-performing exhaust available but pays the price in decibel output...

...i got it and its real loud...real loud, but the gain you feel is hard...meaning once you hit lift it pulls pret-ee hard...yeah its loud but its supposed to b that way...its a straight pipe w/ a tip at the end...fell in luv from day 1...just gotta b careful not to show it off every-now-n-then...normally i shift around 3-3 1/2 and even then its real deep...once you start climbing the rpm's you could hear that mo-fo from like 5-6 blocks away...but i think its the best xhaust you could get without customizing it... thumbsup thumbsup

its very very loud but its cheaper than the regular trd & stuff.

it also involves welding & cutting though so the price kind of evens out on the install unless you are mechanically inclined.

it is the best performing exhaust though thumbsup

^you can't compare apple with orange. kazuma is a cat-back system. meanwhile TPR is still an axle-back system. if i remember correctly, FL is pretty strict about noise...

I've said it before and i'll say it again.

Get a Kazuma and you'll have a cops attention faster than a roadside donut shop. rofl

Its the same sound you'd get from running a straight pipe without a catalytic converter. It is NOT legal in any of the 50 states. It is specifically made for drag only (and maybe offroad, I couldn't see the applicability though).

It reaches well above 100 dB. TSRM only hits 94 dB.

Unless ur taking this to race track only. Then yes you can , other wise , no fucking way in hell it does not sound like any exhaust you have heard. IT sounds like car with no exhaust but louder. Just when you start the car you will make people jump 6 feet when it starts... When you drive people can here you comming 5 blocks away..."so no sneaky time to the gf's house"...It scream PLEASE PULL ME OVER GIVE ME A TICKET you will get pissed off driving and hearing the sounds... please buy advil... forget about bumping your beats...even if you got a nice system that shit is louder... but yah i wouldn't know all this because i never had it installed on my celica before... and btw i silencer does jack shit other then make you drill a hole in the exhaust...

n00b question:

What is meant by 'unbolt your exhaust'?
Or more specifically, how is it done, and can you put it back to normal?

n00b answer:
TRD Kazuma is a catback exhaust. The exhaust literally bolts on to your cat, which is how most of the exhuasts for the celica work. You could bolt it on or unbolt it, you just have to be able to get under your car.

You can put the resonator in. That will quiet it down a bit. The reason people won't buy Kazuma is because they're too fucking loud!!! eek You buy it, you have to expect it to be loud. If you don't like it, get another exhaust. As far as remote silencers, i've never heard of them. Even so, it wouldn't do much to quiet this monster! thumbsdown

noob answer: bolt on is only for axle back exhausts such as stock and most after market exhausts, the kazuma is a catback exhaust system that is running stright pipe, with the kazuma only option is welding because it connects to your main pipe towards the engine.

umm the kazuma does give you 20hp at crank, this hp number is from TRD with ECU tuned.. many people confuse the kazuma to be just some axle back but it isnt its a cat-back exhaust and illegal.. it will give you the most gains, it is nothing like unbolting your stock exhaust

This is a decent list of the top exhausts startin with the most gains:
1) TRD Kazuma (offroad use only)
2) TPR Exhaust
3) TRD Exhaust (street legal)
4) Tanabe Ultra Medallion

Forgot about the straight pipe. rolleyes Most aftermarket exhuasts are bolt-on. I was confusing Kazuma with the traditional TRD kit. wave
