has any one had any problems with a 225/40/18 tire or should i go with a 225/45. i do a lot of highway driving and a have a 1.5" drop on my car.

probably be better with the 225/45 its got a little bit more side wall for so itll be a slightly better ride i think, but i dont think itll make much difference betweem 45 40 series.

will 18" rims work well with a 1.5" drop or will i get a lot of rubbing?

i dont do any rubbing with my 18's and 1.5 drop. 225/40 tires i believe. No rubbing even if i turn all the way. You shouldnt have any problems thumbsup
