this is a dyno of a GT with Injen CAI, TRD exhaust, and AEM pulley (minus the headers so maybe add 1-2whp)...

Wow, it that has I/E and a pulley and still yields only 1whp peak and 1 torque peak...Wow the GT mods horribly! Furthermore, the power throughout the RPM range is almost nothing!

I just don't see how that can be right. I mean, an intake alone on a GTS yields 3-4 peak. Exhaust yields about 3-4 peak. Honestly I have no idea what a pulley adds...Probably ony .8hp throughout the RPM band. Man, just looks like there is no point in modding a GT if that Dyno is correct!

There is no way that is right... IT can't be. eek

not really, the GT was designed well from the factory, so just replacing the intake and exhaust won't do much from the get go

GTS has a whacked-out rear section on the exhaust; a big muffler that enters from the side of the canister and a chunky little resonator before the tip, so replacing the rear section does a lot, and the intake is just not enough considering how much the 2ZZ can breathe from the factory. So, replacing these on the 2ZZ frees up a lot, even short ram intakes give good gains, since the factory setup is so restrictive.

The GT's 1ZZ can get a pretty good breath through the factory intake, and the gt exhaust is a lot less restrictive from the get-go. therefore the gains are lower...

definitely go with a CAI on the GT, you'll get better gains from the reduced intake temps, go with the TRD exhaust for best gains.

A pulley may help a little, but just like on the 2ZZ, don't expect much (unless you go with the crank pulley, it should be great on a GT, assuming it's dampened.)

Header gains may or may not be noticable on the GT. Is the GT exhaust manifold a cast unit or a welded tubular one like on the GTS? If the GT manifold is cast, and not tubular, then you may see some power gains ans some weight reduction.

i swear, my nose is bleeding...

the dyno is not a before and after dyno...it's 2 runs with the same mods. usually GT dynos at 122whp stock.

i dunno it depends on the gt I think. I guess a lot of GT, s
