Before you all go nuts on me, I know Streetglow makes Optx. What I want to know is which one is better? Streetglow advertises 229.99 for a single color LED kit (2x 40", 2x 30", computer controller). I have, however, found a site that sells the Optx 7-color LED kit for 139.99 (http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/stopmuledunk.html). So, which is better? Why would the 7-color kit (of similar contents) be cheaper?

That sounds too cheap for the optx 7-color LED. optx 10" neons are like $25...

Optx products (and streetglow to my knowledge) both come with lifetime warranties against manufacturer defects...

I dunno i'd say if they are made by the same company, then the integrity SHOULD be the same, i would just double check to make sure there isn't any fine print saying that the output is crappier than the other etc.

Streetglow is like Gibson guitars and Optx is like Epiphone guitars. Same company, same owner, same designs, but one is cheaper than the other because of quality level. Optx usually run $15 for neon tubes, Streetglows are $37 for neon tubes. Its all name and quality.

Go Optx, they're more affordable (notice I didn't say cheaper) and they're still good quality, since they're made by one of the best. thumbsup

optx is the affordable version of streetglow, less quality but not to a point that they suck
