As long as you have your undercar plastics and wheel well plastics (and you don't drive into a newly formed lake
), you'll be fine. 90% of hydrolocking cases I've heard of are from people who don't have the wheel well plastic to protect the filter from water. Without that, the tire will toss water straight onto the filter. Eventually, it will build up in the pipe, closing it off, and making the engine suck up the water.
BTW, I've even heard of someone hydrolocking with the stock airbox, so don't think you'll be safe with that or a Short Ram
