All I know is they're a bitch to clean, try some auto upholstery cleaner and then febreze.

big green clean machine carpet cleaner/extractor. i bought one because i have pets. you know how pets and new carpet go so well together. well i found it cleans my seats pretty good, and doesn't leave the seats very wet. sucks up all the water i spray on the seats, and the dirt.

I used this stuff, I think it was from turtlewax. It was a big yellow can with a red brush on the end, for car upholstery, and it worked really good. I'll find a name later.

used this woolite upholstry cleaner, you get a bucket of warm water and a rag, spray on the woolite foam, use damp rag to rub it in and vacuum it after it dries worked magic seats and carpet look new

Nope skins were still on the Seats. Clean it all the time. The foam can take it just don't use a harsh scrub you'll tear it up. I used a damp rag that was soak in detergent. Color never faded. grin
