Celica Forums General Discussion General help! audiobahn amps Vs rockfords

hey guys i'm looking into getting an amp and subs pretty soon. What do you think about the audiobahn for amps? when i went to circuit city (not that i was gonna buy from there) the guy said stay away from the "lower end stuff" like audiobahn? but i've heard pretty good things about it from some other people. i was also thinking about fosgates. any feedback would rock my socks. peas.

Neither, both are "Lower-End".

how much are you looking to spend. Audiobahn and rockford can both handle SPL (making loud music) but when it comes to sound quality and nice tight bass they got nothing.

If you get a real rockford fosgate amp youd be okay. I wouldnt get an audiobahn cause they suck. Id look into kicker as well cause they make nice amps.

I agree. They both are not very good. Don't buy junk, you will be sorry. Go with JL Audio, Kicker, PG or if you want the very best "Zapco amps and Treo subs"

okay okay after the meet in chino hills some of my buddies and i checked out the JL's. now im kinda sold. i'm gonna check out the kickers too.

Not True. Actually, Fosgate amps have above 105 sig/noise ratio. That is HELLA good for amps. But in order to get that you have to get the Power series.
