from the info i saw on the websites the xs engineering kit looks like a better more complete system then the stafford kit-please tell me what reason you would choose one over the other i am trying to figure which one to buy and my end goal of horsepower is 500 not just from the turbo of course

it does, fuel pump and fuel rail, it doesnt come with injectors because the stock injectors can handle the stock psi of the sf kit!! but it comes with fuel pump and rail!!

stock psi on the sf kit would not need bigger injectors, but if you need to, hit up mwr.com!!

Well like you said the XS kit seems more complete and XS Engineer is a good company with proven kits on other cars, I don't see any major problems with going with it.
If you really want to get 500hp out of the GTS I think it would be better for you to get a custom setup and do ALOT of internal work of the engine as well. Both turbo kits are probably safe for about 300hp but with out upgrading the turbo they probably won't get more then maybe 400hp and the stock high compression 2ZZ isn't good for that kind of high boost.

SF offers a kit with a bigger turbo and 3 inch down pipe, but in the end its all up to you, if you really want to achieve that much though, id say custom!! And ALOT ALOT ALOT of internal work, with a gts, lower compression and wider bore, lenghting up the stroke its all up to you!! But also, camshafts, springs, valves, rockerarms, stoppers, gaskets, the works!!

Good luck, not only will you need a lot of engine work, but you will need a new tranny. The tranny will go before anything in the engine does. No one has even come close to that with a celica yet. So plan on spending tons and tons and tons of money. Also if you are really serious about making that much power, neither kit will do it for you. You need a custom kit geared to put out that much. Stafford can help you with that.
