No, they have different connectors in back. The GTS stereo also has an external amp near the glove box, while the GT's amp is built in.

True, but the work involved in rewiring everything and buying an aftermarket amp (or getting a stock GTS one) could be used better by just getting an aftermarket headunit instead.

yup, aftermarket radio with amp(s), upgrade speakers, and added sub(s) sounds so much better than the stock JBL upgrade anyway...
