I am really considering one. The guy told me it would give me about 18 WHP. I don't know if that's true or anything, or if a chip is the way to go, so let me know if you have any info.

There is no functioning chip for the Celi, only thing is the P-AFC, which a full ECU replacement, and costs 1k

Yes, the Apexi Power FC is the only "chip" that will work. anything else will be overrided (is this a word?) by the ECU.

and if you buy "chips" other than an Apexi Power FC, GReddy or other big name brands from eBay then you are dumb.

i dont mean to be so rude to you, i hope you dont take it as that. wave

The only company that claims to make "chips" for the Celica is Jet. Their idea of a "chip" is a sticker with their logo put on the outside of the ECU housing. thumbsdown Everyone who has bought it has felt absolutely no difference.

Correct the only Chip out there is the Jet chip and it doesnt do shit but mess your ecu up. and the Apexi Power FC isnt a chip its a full ECU replacement and its the best bet, however, its coin. Apexi also has a AFC and S-AFC that are pretty cheap but the celica ECU just resets every time and it wont do much for you. Theres also the Greddy E-manage that is a piggy back ECU and thats not a bad unit.

If your going to do ECU work go Power FC or nothing
