Got a two new things from tanabe. Their under front and rear strut bars. I know they dont do much but i just got them anyways. The only problem i have is getting them on. The bolts must be torqued on their really good. Ive tried WD-40. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Do you have a torque wrench or a breaker bar?

I bought a cheapo $10 torque wrench from Autozone that was around 12+ inches long, and it worked well. Still had to apply moderate force though.

Just remember, the longer the handle of the wrench, the better.

If you are trying to do it with a socket wrench, forget it.

You would need a long torque wrench, a breaker bar, or air tools.

Good luck, suspension parts can be a bitch.

One more thing...

I recommend that you get the torque wrench because you will have to torque those bolts on as tight as they were before they came off.

Only $10, and you can use the sockets that you already have for it.

EDIT: Also, I believe that the specific bolt you are dealing with needs to be torqued to 55 ft./lbs. Or just do it until it's tight.

I'd put it on stands so that you have enough room to work with. Won't fall on you if you use the stands properly.

Where you trying to just take off the bolts with the car resting on the suspenion? If you were this is why you might be having more trouble then you should. When you have the car on stands the suspension will loosen up because the cars weight is not resting on it.
