Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Need Opinions On Nitrous & ECU

I don't know much when it comes to these two products. I'm looking for a good system for both that will give me the most out of it for the money, where you can feel the difference. What would be a good set-up for a 2002 GT on the nitrous and the ecu. Can you guys help me out?

Does anyone have nitrous or an ecu on their car? If you do, tell me what brand it is and what are the kinds of gains you get from them.

I don't think anyone on this site has an ECU for their car.

i belive people use nitrous express w/a 50 shot. and i think the only ecu out there that really works is that power FC but its expenisve around $1,000.

I was talking to my cousin and he said that nitrous express was the way to go, but I don't know anyone with a celica and have that set-up. I want know what the gains are and what are the disadvantages it has on the celica, if any.

Well, if you run a 50 shot, you will get an extra 50 horsepower. Actually, you won't get too close to that amount, but that's the jist of it.

It puts more strain on your engine.

how bad do you think it would be if you only use about 2-3 times a week, at the most!! o'yea, and this is a 50 shot with just i/e everything else stock.
