I may be getting lowering springs for Christmas. Are Progress springs any good? They lower 1.6 in the front and 1.8 in the rear. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33582&item=7927758247&rd=1

I was also considering tein s techs , but they don't lower or level quite as much. I'm going to stay on stock struts with 30000 miles on them. I would appreiate any opinions. Thanks.

Sport Compact Car didn't like them. I don't think many people have them, though, so it's hard to get a good idea about how they perform/ride. Going lower than 1.5" will wear your struts fast, though, as dispnoy has found out.

might wanna spend the extra $ on some better springs. but no matter what you get if your looking to drop it that low your probably going to need to invest in shocks soon after.

Go tanabe: Heres info

Offering three different lines of similarly priced springs, we offer end users the ability to choose their type of application. Our spring line has been vastly expanded to include all of the popular makes and models, and all feature the same quality that has made Tanabe springs 'best of industry' for tensile strength.

Normal Feeling SUSTEC NF210 Normal Feeling is for those who wish to lower their vehicle, while maintaining the comfort of the stock suspension. NF210 lowers the vehicle an average of 1 1/4~1 1/2in (30~40mm) without sacrificing the stock ride quality. This is achieved by raising the spring rate no more than 10%

Grip Feeling SUSTEC GF210 Trace your favorite racing line with the performance-oriented GF210 series springs. Featuring increased spring rates of 20-30% over stock, Grip Feeling is more oriented towards performance. Lowering the ride height 1 1/24 to 1 1/2in (30-40mm) gives the car an aggressive stance, while providing a lower center of gravity for an increased amount of turning stability.

Dress-Up Form SUSTEC DF210 For the show or on the street, Dress-Up Form provides a clean aggressive drop while maintaining smooth ride quality. The DF210 line of springs enhance the appearance by lowering the vehicle 2~2 1/2in (50~60mm) without sacrificing comfort. Ride quality is improved by raising the spring rate 10~15%

Tanabe GF210 is the way to go i have them and love them along with Hypermotive adjustable swaybar endlinks. They gave the car a nice stance without going to low (didn't want to have to worry about speed bumps and stuff like that) they are stiff as hell and i love it thumbsup thumbsup
