yea you gotta collapse it then out it in place and twist to raise it so it stays secure n the brackets in there. I couldt believe that wen that lady hit me it had enough force to knock the jack out of its secure postion into the main trunk area. eek angry

just a question but how did you get the jack out but not know where it goes?

That same thing happened to me a while back, My rear bumper was flush with my wheel. Glad her insurance paid, It was 2600, to fix. Some old ladies should not be driving thumbsup thumbsup
