Ok, well so far I was looking at the Autometer Lunar Series EGT Kit and Air Fuel Ratio. Also, I was looking at the Blitz Turbo Timer Dual T/T DC II (link http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp...=Turbo%20Timers [overboost.com] ), but I don't know if it will work with the Celica. Does anyone know if it does? One last thing is which Boost Controller will work with the Celica?

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Gauges will work fine.
For TT and boost controller, I don't see why it will not work, unless you don't have a turbo car. wink
Any boost controller will work on a turbo car, Celica or not.
If you don't want to spend $$, a ball&spring type manual boost controller will work just fine. If you have $$ to spend, Greddy ProfecB Spec II is one of the best electronic boost controllers you can buy.

Yah, I don't understand why you would think it wouldn't work. Like GT4 says, the vehicle doesn't matter.

I thought it wouldn't work because there were some turbo timers and boost controllers that had specific years and models next to them and I wanted to make sure before I spend the money on them.

Thanks guys for all the help!

Do you recommend any other gauge?

The boost controller and TT are generic, the harness for the TT is not. You need to get the correct harness if you don't want to splice your wires.
Autometer is as good as their prices. If you need somthings VERY accurate (A/F) I recommend HKS or Greddy. Don't forget the wideband O2 kit for the A/F.

What about the clutch? Will it be able to hold the 217whp that the Stafford Fabrication kit makes at 6psi?

No, the clutch will not handle it. You will need to get an aftermarket clutch.

Turbo timers work on all cars too. Turbo or not, it doesn't matter. It's a just a timer that leaves the engine running for a minute or so after you pull the keys out to let the oil circulate and cool.

Yes, it works but what's the point?
It lets oil to circulate and cool the turbo, not the engine. So, if you don't have a turbo, why bothering install a turbo timer? idunno

The timer doesn't matter but the harness does matter as most companies only make harnesses for cars that are already turbo. You are probably going to have to splice some wires and install it yourself but it would be easier to get a wiring harness if you can find one so its easier and no need to cut wires.
