I think 1 fahrad per 1000 watts is stretching it too thin. I would say 1 fahrad per 500 watts.

So you need 3 fahrads. thumbsup

... are you trying to make your poor Celi 'splode?!

I have two 10" HE2 subs with a 800 watt Fosgate amp... WAY too much bass.

Ive never been a fan of caps. Lights will still dim and everything i dont see the benefits. I would spend the money on an optima battery or to beef up the alternator.

The point is not for the cap to supply your car with juice, its the fact that a wet cell battery cannot make electricity fast enough for good sound quality. If you run high quality open faced sealed enclosure subs, you can really hear the difference in the response of the subs. It cleans the bass up & its real nice & tight. You still need a good alt & a good battery. I have one on my deck to isolate it from the big draws the subs make on the battery & I have one on the sub amp. The sound quality difference was night & day. I would never go without a cap again. thumbsup thumbsup

One fahrad will do, two will do & so will 20. One will improve your system quite a bit, two will improve it quite a bit more, three will improve it a little bit more, four will probably not be noticable.

Its works kinda like ram in a computer, going from 32MB to 64MB is quite an improve, going from 64MB to 128MB same thing, going from 128MB to 256MB will make quite a bit of difference, from 256MB to 512MB some difference, from 512MB to 1GB will make a slight difference & so on.

There will be difference between 2 & 3 fahrad. IMO, you should get the 3 to maximize the gains. thumbsup thumbsup
