so this morning i had to drop off my sister at school merging into traffic on the way back i was in 5th gear about 2300 rpm range and i get popped for doing 60 in a 65. but the funny thing is the police officer told me that i was speeding i argued with him and he said fine your tail lights out WTF!!!! kinda shit is this. so i ask him which side and he said drivers side blinker so i put the hazards on walk to the back of the car and look at the blinker and its working fine and i make sure he sees it well now hes pissed next thing i know he says my exhaust is loud and hes going to write me a ticket for that. i argued with him and said it was under the 97 dbs rating but he stated that it was to his discrection (sp) and wrote me a exhaust ticket... then he continued to lecture me and tell me that if i was stock he wouldnt have been messing with me. so this weekend ill take his advice im going to look at a few prices and insurance rates and see if i can find me a 1999 SVT mustang. either way this is the second ticket in 3 or so weeks what a great way to start the fucking weekend wouldnt you say

That's bullshit, take it to court. And do not go before a judge, make it a jury trial instead and show how the officer was specifically targeting you. I'd sue the hell out of some cops if I lived on the west coast.

Why would you argue? Its pointless. Take his ticket, hire some representation & remand your case several times. The cop has to keep coming back & it fucks him over cause he'd rather be on the road than waiting around the court house all day.

the perfect time to take him to court and to show that he mistreated you and he just wanted to give you a ticket, for nomather what. mistreating a person just because they drive an import will be a news article.

maybe he thinks he'll blend in with all those domestic mustangs roaming around lol. don't know, maybe domestics face less profilin' than imports...

yup domestics blend in easier and get away with more stuff. had a few domestic friends do burnouts and a few donuts in front of a cop and they would just get warning. anyways im not getting a differnet car. just realized what insuarnce on a SVT is and lets just say its not worth it.
