This seems to be the best milage for the buck these days. Its not as good as a couple months ago. Anyways what do you think? It says its certified and it has under 50000 miles Theyll probably go down to 15000 easy but id like it to go to 14000.

since there is not that high of a market for celicas, Sis, and rsx's I bet you could get them below private resale price... My girlfriend and I got her a 2002 civic si with 12,750 miles on it for $13,700 out the door. It booked for like 16,000 at the time we bought it... Tell them that its not exactly what you want but that you will buy it for 13,000 and see if they can get there deal down to that.. you always want to go as low (as long as its reasonable). They will try to come back with some low payment... but don't focus on that. Focus on purchase price... Low ball them because they are always going to try to highball yah... And if you have a trade don't mention it till you get a price set for the celica.

oh by the way here is private resale book
$13,500

and here is dealer book

$15,530

price will be motivated on how long they have had it on their lot too... I would low ball them with $12,500 smile and if they say they can't work a deal like that... dicker with them some more but don't say ok I can give you $13,000 because they then know that they might be able to get more out of you... Another tactic I use is that I say Im out of the area and that I am looking at another car in this area today. That sometimes motivates them to keep you on the lot so that you don't have the chance to look at the other car. That may in turn lower the price they are willing to sell it for... It all mind games and tatics, if you work it well I could see you getting the car for around 13,000

first of all call mossy toyota and make sure they still have this car on their lot. they might have forgotten the ad on autotrader after selling it. or else goto mossytoyota.com and check it out there. if this car is still available, let me tell you that this has been on their lot for over 2 months, i know cz when i was looking through celicas and i saw this one and even gave them a call. i talk to a salesman, this and that, before i hung up the phone i told him if price is negotiable, he said no its not. im like ok then good luck selling this car for this price when 2 weeks ago you had to same car with 30k miles selling for 16,000$. hes like oh this one has side airbags, chrome rims. im like ok ok wutever. well im not saying that you cant bargain it down, im sure if i went there i could have dropped the price. get that car if they sell it to you for 13,000 or something very near that price. i dont care if toyotas last million miles, but this car has 50,000 miles on it and its 5 years old. think of it that way. is a 5 year old car worth 16,000 with 50,000 miles on it? plus its manual, you never know wut the previous owner done to it, i can see that he tinted it and maybe redded out the tails. if i were u, i wouldnt buy this car. i know you want to because ur impatient, i was just like you 2 months ago. this is barely an OK deal, plus dont be too happy just cz its certified, it dont mean shit. go there and bargain for the price, but have a price set in ur mind and dont go any higher than that, just go lower. dont be afraid to leave, theyll hate it!! i seriously would pay 13,000-14,000 for this car, nothing more. take my advice and wait longer, ive been searching for used celicas for over a year now!
