Has any one had their intake inspected yet and had a TPR intake? If so did they come out legal or lets? say if I'm worried about being legal so i wont get any tickets, should I just go for Ingen or AEM?

It won't pass visual inspection, but it'll definitely pass emissions. Not many people have the TPR CAI yet, since it's in the process of being improved. Should be done by the end of the month.

Yes. cool No CELs or bogging, perfect fit (adjustable mounting bracket), strong stainless steel construction, K&N filter with the most filtering surface of any CAI, and a built in venturi system to accelerate the air. Plus, it can be converted into an SRI in case it rains too hard.

Hopefully they'll be ready by the end of the month. The only thing that's holding them up is the casting shop being used. They're backed up, so there's nothing anyone can do but wait. Once they start up, about 50 pieces will be made for the first run. Not sure if there will be enough for those of you not on the GB, so it's a good idea to contact Easy_C about it soon.

Eventually, once TPR has enough money, it will be able to premake intakes, exhausts, and headers and stock up, so there will be no more waiting for GBs. That won't be anytime soon, though. wink

Here's the GB:

Still unsure of how the logo will be included on the intake. Might just be a sticker, or might be engraved.

Maybe 5 min:

1. Yank the filter off the lower half of the intake piping
2. Remove the silicone coupler that connects the upper half to the lower half
3. Remove the lower half
4. Reattach the filter to the upper half

That's it! smile

I'm not sure about visual inspection either. wink I just hear stories about people failing because of it, or paying off the shop to pass them because of their mods. tongue When I got my car inspected, they didn't look at anything inside/under the car, or under the hood, and this was a state inspection center. I had an eBay CAI that was making my car run super lean, but I passed emissions. smile The TPR CAI will give you A/F ratios much closer to stock than any other CAI out there, so you'll easily be able to pass emissions. I'm sure if you got it powdercoated in matte black, no shop would even know you had an intake (as long as you used black hoses and couplers wink ). That's what I'm doing. grin
