cool

Yeah, I only handwash. I wouldn't trust the soap they put in those automatic carwashes, plus I'm not a big fan of the high pressure jets.

You sunsabatches that get no cold weather got it made in the shade! tastyIf I don't go to a car wash, there's good chance my car won't get washed from November thru March in a particularly cold year! puke

Hand wash, but in the winter months I go through the TOUCH FREE at Mobil. No brushes..or anything touches your car. Soap just gets sprayed on and sprayed off...it does a good job of removing salt...snow

Yah, bummer for you. Living in AZ surely helps; the cold weather is starting up in the Northeast. Here's a suggestion; this is what I used to do when I lived in an apartment and didn't have access to my own hose. Fill a bucket or 2-5 gallon lidded container with warm water, then put it in the car and take it along to a MANUAL car wash (the kind with the hand-held sprayers). Then HAND WASH the car using the warm water and gentle soap. Only use the car wash wand to do the rinse. Not a bad compromise. wink

Handwash. You'll have a greater appreciation for a job you did yourself. I love my car so much i'll take the time to wash it, once every two weeks.

Which reminds me, I have to wash my car today. Bat and I are testing the new overlays on my car tomorrow. thumbsup
