first off when i start her up to go eat couple of seconds of moving she died down for no reason. so i turn her off and start again working fine until i realize that i was idling low about 250rpm(as far as i know i use to idle at 500rpm) confused
now i got a clear road i stepped on it an when lift hit it just got loud and didnt feel the slight jerk that i normally get when it hits lift(u think my bolts are broken???--ihave 03 with 17k on it)
confused

at this point was already piss and had to go back to work when i got there someone took the space i normally park in so i park on another space and didnt see the small curb that was in front next thing i know i heard a slight creek and scraape i look in the front and i slightly scarpe my front diffuser ggrrrrr angry not a very good afternoon for me angry

anywho dont care much about the scrape but the other stuff any opinions on what could be wrong????
battery?? spark plugs????lift bolts???

also my volt meter was reading at 12 when iam idle(it normally reads 12.5 or 13)so could it be battery?or plugs??

remember 03 with 17k (to me everything is preaty new) whacha guys think?

It may be the air flow sensor in your intake is dirty - mine was, and it caused a different problem every day, since its been cleaned (about $100 done at toyota) the car runs perfectly

cleaned the maf about 5 months ago, never used cleaners of any sort. the only existing problem i have is when i installed my AF gauge. it would cause a rought start ie upon start up the engine strugles to suck in air(in 1 second incraments kinda like a schuuuu...schuu, schuu sound) and idle will drop to almost zero. after a couple of seconds engine will run fine and idle will go to about 500 rpm. i know is an existing problem with the af gauge on 03 models because another member had the same problem a while back, he disconnected ithe gauge and the problem is gone. now i had this ever since i installed a guauge with no problem i just let the af needle to move and its all good the engine sounds like its going to die but it never does but as mentioned today it did. i know it might sound a bit confusing coz its hard to explain. ill see what happens 2morrow. btw no cel so far

ok bro, it COULD be ur battery, so check it with a meter. you know that process, turn on car, turn on ac, see wuts measured. wut could be more common for this problem is maybe you put a fuel grade lower than 91? something with injection, fuel pump and relay, or a vaccuum leak. or else it could be ur idle control valve. let us know wutsup. try cleaning the throttle body and the maf again if you can and see how much of an improvement it makes. if it makes a bit difference, than it could be ur idle control valve.

Yeah Marco it is ur battery, same thing happened with mine, it started dying out one day last march and got worse ever since, i had since march with my old battery i think 20+jump starts EASILY, definitely more but i cant remember. i had pep boys check it out and read the battery's volts and everything, check the car out and they said it was the battery, im an 02 and at the time had 27K on my car, i got a new battery from auto zone and the car has been running fine since then, not a single problem, so just get a new battery now b4 it causes more problems to ur car in the future.

^^ ditto.

i seriously doubt its your bolts. the '03's have the new bolts and they really don't ever need to be changed (although if you race frequently it might help a little bit)
