Is it the same for a 2004 as it is for a 2000? (GTS).

Also, I stripped one of the screws that hold the engine plastics down (the ones you need the allen wrench for), how do I get that out? (I heard welding another screw to it, but I don't have any welding supplies or the like... what if I super-glued the wrench in there? )


AND, last but not least...
Any tips for getting to the bolt that's sort of under the ECU box? I can't get the box far enough out of the way to get a wrench on it

You should just be able to drill the screw out of there with a slightly smaller drill bit. It happened to me too.

for the bolt its easier if you have a really long socket extension. and the install should be the same as far as i know.

I'll give it a shot again this weekend. I think I'm gonna see if the dealership will take out the screw for me (and get me a new one) while they work on it this Friday (oil change and tire rotation, and maybe have them check the lift bolts if they will do it free. Otherwise I will ).
