ive been wondering lately and now that the celica is discontinued how is the resale going to be in the future like 2-4 years from now. i was wondering cause ill be 18 next year and wondered if i should sell the celica while it has value (and go wrx) or if i should just keep it down the road and see what i can get? what do you guys think? i still think i could pump out 15k from my car in 1 year maybe...look at pics in my profile. still under warranty at 31000 miles and majority is highway/interstate. im not saying im gonna sell it for sure

I say there's no guarantees on the Celi market 2 years from now so enjoy your car today unless you have your heart set on getting something else soon...

Depending on the Market, it could go for 60K +, I seen a local 97 Supra in perfect condition go fo $60,658. I would never pay that, but if someone wanted to pay me that I would take it. thumbsup

dont expect the celica to make you boat loads of money. itll still lose a little bit of value as the years go by. so i say get rid of it if you want and get your wrx

check the value of a prelude, that should give you some idea how a celica will hold out...

uhh...no. reason why
1) very few supra's in US vs. many celicas in us
2) even fewer Supra TT's vs. many celica gts
3) even fewer supra TT 6spd vs. many gts 6spd
4) Most supras found are modded. Hard to find non modded supra vs. many stock celicas.
5) supras = fast vs. celica = kinda slow
6) supra msrp was around 40K+ vs. celica 22k
7) stupid fast and furious made supras evenmore expensive vs. no stupid movie for celicas
8) supra was a fast production car vs. they are not making production cars as fast as the supra.

Conclusion: 60k+? not likely. my 2000 gts with around 70k in around 3-4 years probally = 7-8k
