i just bought the blue bulb covers and when i go to put them on the ac/heater and cig lights are still a bit on the green side. btw i took off the green covers too. The ac/heater covers didnt fit too well either. Do i have to take any paint off anywhere else? Any tips or advice? HELP!!!

The bulbs are clear without the cover right? If you carefully take a blue sharpie over them, and THEN put the cover on, they will look much better.

I dont recommend coloring bulbs though. I've done it and havn't had problems but I'd be carefull. Pep Boys carries covers, and actual colored bulbs which would probably give you better results idunnothumbsup

Actually the bulb covers dont make them blue...they make a green-blue/turqoise color. Thats pretty much as good as it gets. I had them on for a while nut didnt like the color.

u cant just buy bulbs from pep-boys for that, the bulbs on the a/c switch is soldered onto a board, you would have to unsolder and resolder new ones and good luck finding those tiny bulbs

The bulb covers kept sliding off on mine, so I put a little bit of super glue around the lip of the cover and set it on. Works great now smile

No mine were red, but for you I would recommend just putting a neon tube back there. I have also heard about people placing a few LED's back there. Im not sure how, but that would be a great idea too.

actually they are not soddered in they are just put through two holes in the holder and twisted around the sides, i have taken them out and replaced them with a couple different bulbs, but nothing as bright as the stock white ones... so now im looking for an alterntive too... i want red, and red neon tubes are hard to come by...

the ones that are soddered on are the buttons for the rear defrost and the ac (on)...

its not hard to find out, just open up your dash and look!...

if i could find out what current the board is running at however i could get a better estimate on which type of led to actually get instead of just guess and checking (and sometimes blowing bulbs)
