k leave the auto comments out of this...tuurbo or suupercharge...correct me if im wrong...turbo on auto is useless cause ill endd up with less low end which we cant afford to lose with are celicas and more high end...supercharge...more low end...but trd doesnt make onee that fits without that hood...what about blitz? any comments will do...other than trade in ur car for a stick or gts just curious.

you can't get the blitz kit, it's only for gts. you need to mod the comp to recognize the trd supercharger, too, because the celi ecu isn't set up to accept it as a bolt on. also you'd need to drop money on the hood. turbo is really your only f/i option. the low end loss won't be all that bad because the gt torque comes in earlier than the gts, to it's got decent low end. *auto? why? (sorry, i just had to)

Supercharger options for the celi are useless. Turbo will go, even on an auto.

I don't get it, why do people put the auto down. I've notice everytime a post like this one shows up, there is a handful of people who say it is a bad idea. So, tell me what the problem is about turbo/supercharging it. I was planning to get a blower for my car.

Autos and turbos work very well together. The hardest thing for waste gates & dump valves & the waste gate computers to comensate for is shifting. With an auto it delivers constant acceleration, easy to tune & manage.

These threads really get old after a while Then why read them, just stop looking at them. You know, there are many people that come on to the site to research and they are not on everyday to see that these threads are getting old.

sticks are fun to drive but if you are like me and want a fast1/4 mile car..you cant launch a manual car very good..in a auto you can launch as hard as you wantand you will always be consistant..exp. if you have traction issues..i have two friends that have 87 grand nationals..ones a stick and the auto..the guy wth the stick is always blowing tires off the line and lose time by having to got out of it and shift then get back in it..loses a lot of time..and they are abouit the same in hp/tq, (580 hp-650 tq)
