Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior IPOD car integrator

Has anyone attempted to install the "PIE" adaptor into their audio console? Im going to attempt installing this into my head unit so I could play my IPOD in my car since 90% of the time I use it there. The Belkin cassette adapter sucks and the FM transmitter does to, both of them emit this static sound in the background which really ticks me off.

well i have this thing that allows me to put in audio left and right, from the 1/8 inch plug (the ear phone plug) so i can hook up the mp3 player to my audio in on the back...

I just have the cassette adaptor.
