Prob after oil change =(

I'm not sure if itz a problem or i'm just being paranoid. But i just did an oil change by myself yesterday and i went from regular oil to synthetic. The thing is today when i was driving my car, i notice that my car seem to shake more(rattle) then it use to! not really sure if it is or not but what could be wrong, or what can i do to help it?

I wouldn't blame it on the synthetic itself. I would just make sure you have the proper ammount of oil in the engine, if that's fine, I wouldn't sweat it too much. What oil did you use and what weight??? 5w?? 10w??

Maybe you're paranoid because unless theres no oil then there shouldn't have been any problems from changing the oil.
If you don't know how to check your own oil level, you really shouldn't be changing oil by yourself atleast I know the beest way to learn is to do it yourself but have somebody who has some experience there just in case, even if its something as simple as an oil change.

The car rattling at acceleration may be your tires balancing, new alignment or tires may help.

When I first add Mobil 1, and I pull out the dipstick to check the level, I can barely even see oil on the stick.

I have to press it up against a paper towel to accurately see the level.

Maybe your car burns oil at considerable amounts?

Cause when I change my oil, it's as full as it was when I changed it.

you should only add synthetic after 100,000 miles others wise before your engine isnt ready for it i suggest if below that mileage drain it asap and get the required oil happywink

Uh, no. If anything, you should stop using synthetic after 100k miles.

I went to synthetic after about 10K, and haven't had any oil system problems in the last 90K. No noticeable oil burning, either.

Nope, you've got it mixed up. If you use regular oil too long, it will seal up any developing leaks with its deposits. When you go and switch to synthetic, the synthetic will clean away all of the regular oil's deposits, and may create leaks. If you start with synthetic early in the car's life, you won'thave to worry about this if you ever decide to switch back to regular oil. And there are synthetics out there made for higher mileage cars, too.

Well if it ticks very loud and frequent you may need to check your valves.

Welcome to the world of four cylinders. They keep getting louder the more mileage you put on them. Its amazing how loud they get & still run fine.
