qeustion on these pic

i took off the plastic engine parts today, and i saw these thing that is on the first pic not connected( two tube comes out from these thing and one tube is connected but the other is not, is it suppose to be connected to something.
For the other pic, i saw this wire thing just lying around not connecting to anything, is it supppose to be connected to somethimg

Can't tell about the second pic. Where is it located.

As for the first pic, thats normal. It is there incase your coolant jug overflows, it will drain the overflow.

its an aftermarket part - possibly put there to GROUND(-) something, but the installer never finished his job (Alarm or some sort of lighting)... It must be aftermarket, because toyota doesnt use that yellow plastic wrap - and dealerships only use the thinner black wrap for their in-house installations.

ahic, i put that yellow plastic there. I think that wire is from the alarm since i got a aftermarket alarm

Do you have a light under the Hood? I don't think you have anything to worry about. Follow the wire and see where the other end leads.
