Would you buy a tv to finish off your awesome system for $1100 instead of a normal cd player(250$)or buy rims for $1300. But the rims(18s) would be only addition to the car...no lowering springs, nothing else.I know most will say rims...but just rims on a stock celica for a while.
do yew have a kit? coz if yew had a big chunky kit like the blitz or even the veilside, i'd say rims coz yew dont really have to lower it that much to make it look good. plus, TVs are a bit of a novelty, sorta has limited use unless yew're on the road heaps.a nd then yew'd have to consider getting a tv tuner or DVD player for it etc. (unless yew get the clarion or new alpine one) so its all $$$
no TV for me cause I would have nothing to do with it...that is just something you should decide since it is your car...ask yourself...what are you going to do with this TV and will it get put to use? Or is it better that you get rims to enhance the look of your celica? Why not finish off the system with a GREAT cd player? that has features you will love instead of soemthing crappy? If it is a good system..why have a not so good head unit?
Ughh i got so many ideas running thru my head. I watched Super2nr tv and i think ill get the cd player i was planning on getting and i want an exhaust now.Would it be not so good to just have an exhaust w/ no other engine mods?
I been thinking and tv is kinda outlandish and rims wont be worth it now. I'd have to take them off 2-3 mnths b/c im going to college and snows so much where im going so id getting better use out of a tv, but its a lot of $ and maybe an exhaust will satisfy me.
I'll probably hear til doomsday but I really don't get the need for a TV in the car unless you're rollin' in a min-van with lil ones to keep occupied. Make your car a head turner and then worry about catching reruns of Cops.
If I where you I"ll buy a tv (but not dvd) just the monitor that is about 150 dollars with a playstation 2 and there you got the dvd. the rest of the money to the engine and some springs. I will never spend 1000 dollars on a dvd
The question is.... "How far do you want to take your Toyota?"
