I was wondering if i could mask everything off completely except the dash board and if i could paint it will its in the car.. what do you think the chances of it working would be? or should i just take it out and paint it and how hard is that truley??? confused

not a good idea. then ur car will smell like paint.

yah id take out the entire dash then paint it...

ya, dont risk overspray, even if you mask... unless you mask alot, there might even be the chance to miss a spot, and get some one ur winsheild, and it will suck... and ya your car will smell like paint... it sucks

yes better to take out the dash to paint it so you can do prep it properly and paint completely.

there's plently of areas on the dash you can't reach unless you take it out.

I used vinyl dye spray on my friend's car with the dash in and it came out fine. We removed the major parts (center console trim, gauges) then just covered the rest of the interior with two tarps and a lot of blue masking tape. The spray got into every last corner on the dash and looked great, like real vinyl, not cheap looking shiny paint. thumbsup
