Hello,
I am wondering. Is it possible to use the brakes if anything is wrong with your transmission? I am thinking that the brakes has nothing to do with the transmission, so even if there is something wrong with the transmission, shouldn't one be able to still use the brakes?

I see. Is this universal? Meaning, is this true for all cars?

no sure..but all i know is that ur brakes only pump when the car is started meaning it have full power..but if the tranny is gone and the car won't start, you can pump it and it probably won't release..u see wat i mean?? i think majority of car are that way..but i know very lil about car spec.

Yah, one has nothing to do with the other. Your brakes will work fine.

awkward question. so ur saying if the tranny messes up, brakes mess up? hell no. dude the tranny is attached to ur engine and ur brakes are by the wheel, pads that are pushing on the rotors to slow down ur car.

Nah, that is not what I am saying. Just have a family issue and one of them is saying some bullsh*t about this and I wanted to check if they are telling the truth. And I was right, they are lying.
